One of my favorite places to visit outside of DC is Sugarloaf Mountain in Comus, MD. Whenever I want to get away from the busy city, Sugarloaf is my go-to spot since it’s only an hour away. Here are some shots from a couple of visits this past summer.
Before heading up to the trail, a stop at the winery for a glass of sangria is always a good idea.

Enjoying the quiet.
I love the amount of pine trees on the mountain. Always surrounded by a fresh aroma.
